Modelshop in association with Siyatha TV, Kiss Fm & Sunday Times presents The island’s most glamorous event celebrating the poetic beauty of Lankan women, their personalities and courage, whilst working toward the humanitarian cause of uplifting the lives of the needy, under the theme of Miss World International & Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka – Beauty With Purpose. As Ceylon tours celebrates 71 years in the travel trade, the design and production of a gala event by Modelshop will raise funds for kidney patients.
Search for the most suitable candidate to represent Sri Lanka at the Miss World Pageant to be held this year, 15 semi finalists will be selected from the 9 provinces of Sri Lanka . An all talent hunt will commence 3 months prior to the Gala Event. The Chosen 11 Semi finalists will undergo training on poise ,elegance in preparing them to parade at the international pageant by celebrated choreographer Senaka De Silva.
